So after about 9 weeks worth of still lives, my drawing fundamentals class is finally working on the figure . We are working with colored pencil (bleh, I like oil pastels better) but we are finally moving on from boring still lives . Ana also briefly mentioned that our final project would be mixed media... im interested to see what exactly we have to do, but it seems like its going to be a whole lotta awesome

Another awesome thing is that in Ben Stone's 3-d class, we are making a sculpture in the woodshop. The assignment is 2 dysfunctional objects that have a flow. I will be making a skeletal hand with paint brushes as the fingers. I'm not too sure ye if i'll do the sweet idea of making a pallet base so i can hang it on the hand top and have a sweet paint design dripping from the top to make a cool design/panting.
